Temporary position until July 31, 2024, approximately. The incumbent will analyze requirements and develop and sustain a business intelligence reporting practices with business stakeholders. The BI developer/analyst will create advanced Power BI dashboards and interactive reports to support business needs and develop and maintain SQL databases to support data requirements for Power BI reporting. In addition to advanced experience with Power BI, the candidate will have strong experience with programming languages including Java and Visual Studio .NET.The hiring range for this position is: $40.885 - $47.028/hourly. Hybrid/Remote work arrangements are available for this position.

•Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related discipline or a combination of education and minimum of 10 years equivalent experience in a related position;•3-5 years of Power Business Intelligence (BI) experience;•3-5 year of programming experience with languages such as Java and .NET;•Experience with SQL including SSRS, SSIS;•Expertise in using advance level calculations on the data set;•Advanced experience in designing and developing visual reports and dashboards using Power BI desktop;•Advanced-level knowledge of BI architecture;•Expertise in making DAX queries in Power BI desktop;•Familiarity with the Azure data platform;•Advanced expertise with Power BI desktop, Power BI dataflows, tabular editor, DAX studio;•Knowledge of Java, .NET, SQL Server, and related enterprise technologies;•Knowledge and experience in prototyping, designing, and requirement analysis;•Strong verbal and written communication skills;•Self-motivated, ability to take direction and work independently;•Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work within deadlines;•Able to build software development practices that ensure reports, dashboards, and queries are maintainable and scalable;•Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.As a pre-condition of employment, all new EORLA employees will be required to obtain and provide a satisfactory Criminal Records Check dated within six (6) months from the date of issue.*Mandatory Vaccination Policy*EORLA is following the provincial government directive and implementing a COVID-19 Vaccination Policy for everyone working in the hospital environment.
